Jury selection began yesterday in the second-degree murder trial of Josh Lewis, 19, of Cotton Valley. He, along with another teen, are accused in the shooting death of a classmate in 2017.
Lewis was arrested in late November for the murder of Jaylon Thomas, 17, of Cullen.
According to reports at the time of his arrest, Lewis confessed to killing Thomas, but later plead not guilty.
Police said the shooting stemmed from a disagreement from two other teens, reportedly over a female, which eventually led to a disagreement
